Picking a Gel Polish

Picking a Gel Polish

May 20, 2019

Picking gel polishes can often be a daunting task.  So many options, so many colors, so many companies.  So what should you take into consideration when deciding what brand to choose?  Some of the things that have brought me back to enVogue is cost, quality, ease of use and ability to be creative.  Different companies have different formulas that may require two coats of polish, they may be difficult to remove, they may run in the cuticle when you cure them causing lifting and extra work for you to clean up before they walk out of the salon.  There aren't many nail techs that are brand specific, if the client wants the color, you get it.  enVogue offers two lines of gel polish.  A permanent line, Simply Colour Gels and Lac it!, gel polishes.  The Lac it! is a high pigmented line with a great price point ($13.95) and the advanced formula allows for one coat coverage with many of their colors saving you time and money.  The Simply line ($11.50) allows you to mix and make your own colors or  use them for nail art and really express your creativity.  Do your research before you invest to much money in a brand that doesn't stand behind you, your client, or your bottom line...
